CEEC 2009 has received the strong support from the Bureau of Energy of the National Development and Reform Commission, China (NDRC) and the Chinese Renewable Energy Society (CRES). NDRC is a branch of China's State Department, responsible to study and draft the country's economic and social development policy, and offer guidance on the reform of China's overall economic system. The Bureau of Energy of NDRC is responsible to study and draft China's macro-economic policy in the energy field. China Renewable Energy Society (CRES) is a national academic association subordinate to China's Association for Science and Technology (CAST). It was founded in 1979, and it was formerly the China Solar Energy Society. CRES aims to promote the development in the renewable energy fields, and the promote application of renewable energy technology in economic fields. CRES has 7 subordinate committees: Heat Utilization Committee, Solar PV Committee, Wind Power Committee, Biomass Committee, Photochemistry Committee, Hydrogen Energy Committee, Solar Energy and Building Committee.
Both Bureau of Energy of NDRC and CRES will play a consultancy role to offer industrial advice to CEEC, and provide support to the promotion of CEEC's marketing efforts and related activities. |
